Grandma Roosty's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies

By age 6, Dilynn had this recipe memorized. This is her favorite thing to do at grandma's house! And their # 1 is: "You HAVE to take a bite of the cookie dough".

Ingredients:

2 1/4 C flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 C butter, softened

3/4 C sugar

3/4 C brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 eggs

1 package chocolate chips

1/2 package mini m&m's

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 deg

2. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt. Set aside

3. In mixing bowl cream together butter and sugars, add vanilla. Add eggs and continue to beat until creamed

4. Add flour, mixing slowly. Fold in chocolate chips

5. Bake 8-10 minutes
