Ingredients:
Pie Crust
2 1/2 C flour
1 tsp salt
1 C lard (crisco)
1 egg yolk - fill with milk to make 2/3 C
Filling:
5 C apples (tastes better with more)
1 1/2 C sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Mix together crust ingredients and divide in half. Roll out half for the bottom of a 9x13 pan
Mix apples, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add on top of crust
Cover with remaining, rolled out portion of crust. Poke holes in the top for steam to escape
Bake 30-35 minutes at 400 deg
Cover with powdered sugar glaze
