Bacon Cheeseburger Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

1lb hamburger, browned

1/2 lb bacon, diced and cooked until crisp

1 small onion, diced

3 Tbsp ketchup

1 tsp mustard

1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 Tbsp cornstarch

1/2 C beef broth

1 C shredded cheddar cheese


Directions:


1. Stir the ground beef and brown until a deep crust appears on about 50 or so percent of the beef

2. Sauté onion. Add beef back into the pan

3. In a small cup, mix beef broth and cornstarch together. Add in ketchup, mustard, Worchester sauce, salt, pepper. Add into pan

4. Cook until mixture in only slightly liquidy, about 3-5 minutes

5. Add bacon back into pan and stir to combine

6. Turn off heat, add in cheddar cheese and fold into the meat with a spatula until just melted

7. Serve on toasted buns
