Be creative with your filling! Can use buffalo chicken dip (shown), spinach artichoke dip, taco dip, olive cheese bread ingredients, etc)
Ingredients:
Buffalo chicken dip
Biscuit dough, crescent roll dough, quick bread dough recipe
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 deg with rack in the middle of the oven
Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and cut into 4 equal pieces. Lightly dust your hands with flour, then gently roll and stretch 1 piece of dough to form a 12" long rope
Flatten dough and arrange so a long side is nearest to you and roll out a 12"x4" rectangle
Press 1/4 of dip into the lower 1/3 of the rectangle, leaving a 1/2" border along bottom edge. Stretch bottom edge over filling and press to seal. Then roll up as tightly as possile to form a rope.
Cut rope into 12 pieces and transfer to a sheet pan
Make 3 more ropes with remaining dough. Let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes to rise
Bake for 5-10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Brush tops with melted butter before serving
