Homemade Granola

Ingredients:

4 C old fashioned oatmeal

1 C coconut flakes (I rarely use)

1 pinch salt

1 Tbsp cinnamon

2 Tbsp brown sugar

1/2 C sliced almonds

1/2 C chopped pecans

1/2 C dried cranberries

1/4 C melted butter

1/4 C honey

1/4 C maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 deg

  2. Combine all dry ingredients in large bowl. Add in wet ingredients and mix to incorporate

  3. Spread mixture onto large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 30 minutes (I check it every 10 minutes and stir it. If you want your granola to be in bigger chunks then do not stir it during the baking process)

  4. Allow to cool completely. Store in airtight container
