Homemade Playdough

Ingredients:

1 C boiling water

1 C flour

1/4 C salt

1 1/2 Tbsp cream of tartar

1 Tbsp vegetable oil

Food coloring

Directions:

1. Bring 1C water to a boil

2. Combine all ingredients except food coloring into a large bowl. Mix until a dough forms, adding food coloring last

3. Add flour as needed if dough is too sticky

Tips:

* Add jello packet powder of any flavor to make it scented. We did strawberry and cherry on valentines day, pumpkin on thanksgiving, etc

* Add essential oils to make it scented
