Homemade White Bread - 1

Ingredients:

2 3/4 C bread flour

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 Tbsp dry milk

1 1/2 Tbsp sugar

1 tsp yeast

1 1/4 C water

1 Tbsp butter


Directions:

  1. Add water, sugar, and yeast into small bowl to activate, approximately 5 minutes

  2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add water/yeast mixture and knead for 7-10 minutes or until smooth

  3. Let rise for 45-60 minutes in a greased, covered bowl

  4. On a clean work surface, roll out dough. Form into a loaf and place in warm area, covered for a second rise, 45-60 minutes

  5. Preheat oven to 360 deg

  6. Bake for 32 minutes
