Pumpkin Pie Crust

Ingredients:

1 1/4 C flour

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ginger

1/2 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp cloves

1/2 C cold butter, cut into cubes

5-6 Tbsp ice water


Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients except butter and water to food processor. Pulse to combine

  2. Add butter to food processer and pulse until mixture has pea-sized clumps of butter throughout

  3. Add 4 Tbsp ice water to food processor and pulse. Continue pulsing and adding water until the dough starts to come together, do not overmix

  4. Dump dough onto a clean work surface

  5. Gather dough into a ball, then pat into a disc and roll into a circle just larger than your pie plate

Makes 1, 9-inch pie crust
