Rapid Rise Skillet Rolls

Ingredients:

1 C warm water

1 Tbsp yeast

1/4 C honey

1/4 C butter, melted

1 tsp salt

1 large egg

3 C flour


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 deg

  2. In a large bowl, combine yeast, water, and honey. Stir in melted butter, salt, and eggs until combined

  3. Add in flour and mix until the dough comes together. Knead for 5-7 minutes or until the dough becomes elastic

  4. Divide into 12 pieces and shape into balls. Place into a 12" cast iron skillet. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes, or, until doubled in size

  5. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove and brush with melted butter
