Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients:

2 C flour

1 Tbsp sugar

1 Tbsp baking powder

2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp kosher salt

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1 C buttermilk

1/2 C butter, melted

1 1/2 C shredded cheddar cheese

Topping:

3 Tbsp butter, melted

1 tsp parsley

1/2 tsp garlic powder


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 deg

  2. In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients. In a small bowl mix buttermilk and butter. Pour into dry ingredients and incorporate. Fold in shredded cheese

  3. Using 1/4 C measuring cup, scoop batter evenly onto baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden brown

  4. For the topping, whisk butter, parsley, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Brush the top of each biscuit with butter mixture
